i-mate gone kaput

Was surprised to see that imate has gone defunct :( Means that my phone is out of any support, just when I need to give it for servicing. More surprising is that the official site has just gone...vanished !! No information whatsoever...except a line in Wiki mentioning"On September 16, 2009, i-mate became defunct by telling all remaining employees to take an indefinite leave". One more Dubai behemoth falls...
